When my mail lady showed up yesterday with these quilt tops in need of frosting, I warned her that the following day would be two rolls of batting and that I would go pick it up if the call me. (the post office is maybe 2 minutes from the house) These rolls would fill up her jeep leaving no room for much else.
When I went into the post office to pick these up I could hear a worker from the back say, "those must be for our quilter." It sure made my day.
The picture I took of this scrappy heart table runner of Jen's didn't turn out the best but I wanted to share anyway. I loved the swirl heart frosting and cheerful colors!
This one is Jen's too. I need pinks and reds in my stash if I'm ever to make such a cute piece quilt. Perhaps one day with grandkids? Hopefully...someday....
Nicole's mini quilt. She chose just one large block to frost the whole quilt. This is a Kim Diehl pattern called, "Laundry Day" from the Simple Whatnots club I believe.
I posted the above on my Instagram and boy did it spark interest! This one belongs to Chris and she says the pattern is from the book Jelly Roll Quilts by Pam & Nicky Lintott called "Daisy Chain." Chris used an older Moda line of fabrics called Roman Holiday and I frosted it with Cotton Puffs. Simply Gorgeous!
Well darn...can't remember the name of this one now. I want to say Jen told me it was a FQ Shop BOM. It is cute and she should be able to get that binding on before Christmas! Loop-D-Loop for frosting that looks like asterisk snowflakes. (one of my favorite designs on holiday quilts)
Another one of Nicole's called "Rhubarb Whirl" from the book Home to Roost by Need'l Love. The fabric colors match my home décor perfectly!
If you are on Instagram you can find me as quilthollow. Yes, you might see some duplicates in posting here and there. I found that many of my blog followers do not Instagram. Another place you can find me is on Pinterest.
Happy Spring to all of you!
