Tidbits

I thought you would like to see this antique shelf we bought years ago at a market in Belgium.  I'm still tweaking decor here and there.  The quilt was gifted to me a few years ago.  It's a Kim Diehl pattern.

Here's another antique shelf.  The bench was bought at a market in The Netherlands.  It was a bed at one time.  The seat does lift for storage.  That basket looks lonely hanging there.  I'll be tweaking this area for sure.  A want to hang my Sheep in the Willows quilt to the left side of all this.  I showed the top a few post back.  It needs to be quilted.

New rug at entry...love the colors!  I found it at Wal-Mart.

That's it for now.  I've got company coming in today and busy week ahead.  My son marries this Saturday!  We are so excited and I'm so looking forward to seeing all my guys in their suits and ties.

I like the little sewing machines on the shelf. And interesting that the bench used to make into a bed. You found so many wonderful pieces overseas.
I know you are busy with wedding things. Looking forward to seeing pictures.

What beautiful vintage shelves, and I love the quilts above them. Is that second one a feathered star? Couldn't tell for sure and the photo doesn't enlarge.
Great bench! Can I come live at your house? Love it all!! : )
BTW, that is a great Wal-Mart find!

Love your decorations and the pineapple quilt, I do have that one all done, but I used thick fusible, so really stiff, guess I should finish it.

I also like your birds on the wall, are those fractures? I haven't done any in ages but would like to do simple ones like that, since my hand control is not what it used to be.
