Here I Am...

It's not the best photo this morning but I thought you may want a peek into my quilting hollow.  It hasn't been decorated with exception of one quilt and my empty thread rack for my longarm thread.  You can see my mess.  A quilt top on the floor that needs borders then quilting, bins to the right that need emptied and shelved, etc.
Here is an unexpected surprise from a dear no blog friend, Mary.  Can you see the hanger has been personalized?  I'll need to make a special quilt for this.  Maybe something with a kitty cat since she adopted a sweet little kitty from me that now lives in sunny Florida.
Have you seen these Pillsbury Grands cinnamon roll waffles advertised on TV and Pinterest?  We tried them in my Belgian waffle maker this morning and will pass on making them again.  We prefer them baked.  But dang, photo makes them look so good!

If you follow my blog you know about this chapter we currently live and I thank you for checking on us. My husband is doing well after both surgeries and he starts chemo on Monday.  Several of our new neighbors have also reached out to help us when we need as well.  I think I'm really going to love it here!

I am so drooling over your long arm quilter and your quilt hollow is wonderful. I am working on a Queen size Hawaiian quilt for my daughter and just about have it all appliqued to the top backing. I have done it all by hand, Whew!, lots of stitches, and I plan on doing echo quilting on and around the pattern. I was planning on doing it by hand but the more I think about it the more I am leaning to a long arm. I have access to one at $20 a day but I am afraid it will take me too long since I am so inexperienced. They will certify me before I do it. What do you think. I will email you a picture.
