I feel ashamed! There wasn't a single gift or holiday card that went out. In fact, given the situation we were in, no gifts were bought and no holiday tree or decor up. Yet wonderful friends were sure to brighten not only my Christmas but birthday too.
Shirley and Carol gave me beautiful fabrics to play with.
Karen also made me this wool piece. Dang cute!
My sweet friend Debbie of Woolen Sails sent me this darling candle mat...love prim!
Then there is this sweet quilt from Wendy Snippets of a Quilter. I was totally surprised and love, love, love it!
So many emails I'm behind on from so many checking on us that I'm just now trying to answer. After spending 6 days in the hospital my husband's colon surgery the pathology report came back with Stage 3 cancer. Most of our time is being spent at doctor appointments these days. Tomorrow is our 30th wedding anniversary and we have a big date day marked on the calendar with three appointments. At least there is a plan in place for chemo and looking forward to a better holiday season next year.
Thank you ladies for my pretties and your friendship.
Wishing everybody a wonderful New Year!
