The Sink

A few days ago I shared my excitement of the kitchen tile.  What excites the guy?  The sink in HIS garage!  This is his tinkering garage next to the laundry room entrance door (still needs steps).  Yep, we planned to have the laundry room right there so he can just drop his dirty clothing at the washing machine.

I'm sharing this tidbit because yesterday my husband said he was showing the guy across the street photos of the build.  The guy LOVED the sink and said something about wanting one.  Apparently the only photo of excitement.

I should be more excited too.  After all, no more bringing his bucket into the kitchen sink for warm water.  Oh....and he does read my blog so feel free to comment away with fun captions.  Giggles these days are well received.

That was the best part of our build for my hubbie too! Wish I would have had a toilet put out there too.

My husband put a sink just like that in our laundry room. Must be a guy thing, cuz it doesn't do that much for me!

LOL we have one just like that by our garage door and DH loves it~ and our laundry is right inside the door too! Makes for some funny dashes to the bedroom when he forgets to put other clothes in there. ;-)

I wish I had one for outdoors, maybe a whole bath tub that he can dunk in after working on the lawnmower or car, lol.

I'm laughing at the toilet comment! We have a laundry sink just inside the house from the garage in our laundry room. We both love it. I dye fabric there, so it comes in really handy.

Lucky you! We don't have a garage, but I sure would love to have a sink like that in the basement!

How is this for a caption?

Too funny. My husband was pretty excited about his deep mudroom sink in our new house too. I am too. No more farmer dirt splashed around the bathroom sink. lol

I would be excited too! We lived in two houses that had sinks like that. (those were pre animal days) I never could figure out what to use those sinks for. aha!!! now I have three dogs and would kill for another sink like that....it would make dog baths sooo much easier!!

It is a great idea for all kinds of things, like washing off veggies from the garden before they come inside. So very glad to hear your house is nearing completion. Very exciting.

It's a great idea!

Great sink! It must mean someone is actually doing some dirty work to need one. Kudos to that!
