Home of a Quilter?

My husband went to the house today and found the tile guy working on the piece I've been dreaming about ever since making my selections months ago.  This is the wall behind my stove top.  Hmmm...does a quilter live here?

I love it! We are going to go with wall tiles, not a lot of wall space but enough to be a pain, since my husband seems to take forever just to do one job, haha.

Wow Mary, the tile work is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for a Quiters home!!! Your entire new home looks amazing and I can't wait to see more pictures as it progresses. Do you know when you'll be moving in? Such an exciting time but I know your hubby's upcoming surgery takes some of the 'shine' away from moving into your beautiful new home...but it will be so comfortable for him while he recoups and begins healing. Keeping you and yours, especially your hubby in my thoughts and prayers. Sending big hugs and warm thoughts, God Bless and keep...

Your lovely tile is the perfect announcement that it's the home of a quilter. You lucky lady !! It's beautiful. I think it would bring a smile to my face every time I set foot in the kitchen, if I were fortunate to have such a special reflection of my quilting.

love it!! I saw a quilters house once where the son had redone the kitchen floor and he put a big mariner's compass in the center of the floor in tile.

I L.O.V.E. it! I actually tried to get the contractor to do a star behind the stove and he said it would be too complicated. I'm sending him to your site! Idiot! My brother in law is a tile guy and I'm gonna have him replace mine. Your kitchen is gorgeous! So happy and excited for you!

I would say YES! The house is really coming together and like quilting brings a quilt to life, the tiles bring your kitchen to life. Love it!

Beautiful. I have a simple on point setting on my backsplash. Recently I really looked at it, now I think it needs to be taken out. Not symmetrical. Not sure how they could have improved but once I noticed it, I am done. That is all I can see.

What type of counter tops?
