Nearly Ready for the Parade

Here is a peek of my Schnibble Gentle Art quilt top.  I changed it up a bit and need to add the binding.  I should be ready for Sinta and Sherri's parade of Schnibbles.  This was a fun one to quilt.
Earlier in the week a box showed up from Karen with one house block made and lots of pieces already cut.  I'm figuring out the puzzle so I can start stitching up this beauty!  Thanks Karen for your discarded UFO.

Its been a productive week quilting for others in the hollow.  I'm anxious to share with you photos of one of them but she wants to be surprised and see it in person first.  I'll post it later in the week.  How about you?  If you send your quilt to a longarm quilter do you like peeks or are you the type who waits for the reveal?

Have a great week everybody...get stitching!

Your Gentle Art quilt is so nice what I can see if it, I'll be looking for itin the parade for a full view. I like getting sneak peeks from my quilter in my email, it's fun. Nice house block.

The spools are so cute, can't wait to see the rest of the quilt. Alas I'm the last to see my quilts. A friend drops them off and picks them up...she working at a middle and always shows them to the Home Ec teacher who then shows them to all her classes.

Love the Gentle Art Schnibbles and your quilting is surely going to bring it to life. Love the spools that you quilted in the sashing! Guess I'd better order the pattern, huh?

I like sneak peeks when I send my quilts off to be quilted but I also like to be surprised so I guess I really didn't answer your question, huh? *wink* They always look wonderful when you open the box and seethe magic that's been worked on them.

I wait a long, long time for the reveal, sometimes it takes a year. In our area she's very popular so I have to practice patience.

Gentle Art is fabulous, Mary.

I don't like sneak peeks at quilts - I prefer to be surprised. And, I don't like anyone to see it before I do. Selfish, I know! LOL

What fun quilting on your Schnibble!
The only two long arm quilters I ever used lived within just a couple of miles of my home. I would drop them off when they were ready for them and not see them again until a few days later when I picked them up. Never got a peek. Not sure if I would have wanted one. On second thought, if they had offered I probably would have gone to see what was happening. But still, I love the surprise of seeing it all finished. How is that for a convoluted answer? : )

Cute fun quilting!
I have a customer that loves to blog about her quilt before she picks it up? If I don't do it she asks why didn't I blog about it!
Funny!
Sometimes I give little sneak peeks on my blog.....kinda cheeky really!
