Quilt Hollow Up and Running!

Granny Square top is on the frame today as I wanted to be sure that everything runs smoothly after moving the longarm.  I'm back in business!  Woo Hoo!  Now remember to email me for my NEW address before mailing your quilt tops for quilting.
Shucks!  This picture turned!  I was trying to show a better picture of the backing fabric I picked up at Joann Fabrics yesterday.  This fabric was $12.99 a yard.  Ouch! But a great quality as it feels like butter!  Joann Fabrics has 50% off coupons this week that I printed off the computer to use.

Tired of Winter yet?  I know I am.

Oh dear -- I must be strong. That fabric looks lovely, and butter soft from JoAnn's? Way too tempting. But I must be strong, so I won't head over there, looking to see if our local store has it.
I'm glad to read that you're up and running. Enjoy the new digs!

Sometimes Joann has quality fabric but they price it higher than the quilt shops, I guess that's because they have driven their customer to never paying retail, so "mark it up to mark it down" is their business model. It's very pretty, glad you are back up and running and YES, bring on the spring weather!

I'll bet you are so happy to be up and running again! That has got to feel great.

Doesn't it feel good to be back doing what you love?
I bought fabric at JoAnn's for some quilts I was making as Christmas gifts. Hadn't bought fabric there in a while. Couldn't believe the price, but it was quite nice fabric--of course, I used a coupon. : )
That is a very pretty back piece. I'm headed to JoAnn's this evening, but wasn't planning on looking at fabric. Arrrrrgh!

I like the quilt you are quilting. The Granny Squares is on my to do list. I have to say Joannes at 12.99 would be a sale here in Canada We do not have a Joannes but the Quilt Shops are charging us 14 to 16 dollars a meter 39" for our fabric. That is why I buy on Line.

Yahoo! you're back on track and I love your quilt :) And sweetie, that price is normal here and in the city, would be considered a sale price!

$12.99 a yard at Jo-Ann's. Wow! I didn't know they had any cottons at that price.

Do you know about what size quilt you made? Looks good size.

Glad to see you quilting again. Even after managing a quilt shop I have no problem buying fabric at Joann's. I shop by price there. Usually, the more expensive it is, the better the quality. I pretty much stay away from anything under $8.00.

I noticed last week that fabric at Joann's seemed to jump up in price recently. Thank goodness for their coupons. That backing is pretty.

The price of fabric is just crazy! I see smaller quilts in my future. Happy to hear that all systems are functioning nicely after the big move. Happy quilting! :-D

Nice to see you back at it again! Lovely Granny you are working on. Niece is after me to go with her to Joann's with our coupons! We use them on linen she uses for cross stitch that I tea/coffee dye for her!I have found some nice fabrics at Joann's and Hancock's and lesser fabrics at quilt shops.Quilt shop prices here run anywhere from 9.99 to 14.99.
