Robbing Peter to Pay Paul Runner

Brrrr it is dang cold out there!  Thankfully I had no place to be but quilting the day away.  I thought this would be fun to share with you.  I'll be hand stitching that binding this evening in front of the fire.
These fabrics are older Thimbleberries.
Here's the "naked" blocks before they were "frosted."

Bit of Modern Look & Charlotte the Kitty Cat!

My no blogging friend made this quilt top from a pattern she found in American Patchwork &  Quilting magazine quite some time ago.  I don't have the name at moment.
She had me quilt the design called, "Beaded" by Wildflower Quilting Designs to give her quilt more that modern look.

Some who have followed my blog will remember a little kitty cat that needed a home last summer.  Her new owner sent me this recent photo and just look at that stack of quilts that kitty must think are hers!

Basket Quilt Finished!

Yesterday was a fun-filled day of quilting and this morning I finished up the last little bit.
Each basket was different so I wanted to quilt each a bit differently, yet keeping it simple.  Here's a few extra photos to just enjoy.

Karen's Basket Quilt

Here's a peek at what I've been quilting.  I want to keep the quilting simple to keep with the look of the "prim style" piecing.  Enjoy your weekend!

Finishes to Share!

Granny Squares quilted with a free daisy edge to edge design, bound, washed and dried for crinkle goodness!  Love it!
Instant gratification piecing mini quilts along with some quick quilting and I have two small quilts for gifting.
They measure about 14.5 x 11.5.  The quilt back on the left is clam shells and on the right baptist fans.
Here's a closer look at the baptist fans which I now wish I would have made smaller but still effective.
I really like how the clam shell quilting looks on this one.

Quilt Hollow Up and Running!

Granny Square top is on the frame today as I wanted to be sure that everything runs smoothly after moving the longarm.  I'm back in business!  Woo Hoo!  Now remember to email me for my NEW address before mailing your quilt tops for quilting.
Shucks!  This picture turned!  I was trying to show a better picture of the backing fabric I picked up at Joann Fabrics yesterday.  This fabric was $12.99 a yard.  Ouch! But a great quality as it feels like butter!  Joann Fabrics has 50% off coupons this week that I printed off the computer to use.

Tired of Winter yet?  I know I am.
