Speck Again

I had leftover fabric after piecing Schnibbles Speck's X version so I decided to piece an O version.  These are not quilted yet and will have to wait until after I get back from caring for my mom.  I'll be gone October and my husband will be here in the hollow receiving quilt tops.  Please only send your top if you have already spoken to me about an estimate.  I'm hoping to have internet access so I can still quote quilt tops, email and visit blogs.
Remember kitty that I posted about several weeks ago?  She's named Charlotte since she traveled through the Charlotte airport to her new home in Florida.  Her new owners adore her.  They send me photos and videos regularly.  She's growing rapidly and look at those toys!  They are spoiling her rotten and I love it!

I vote for "O" as being my favorite of the two.

I like the kitten's name. I can understand why the "Charlotte" name with the airport exchange. Would be even more unique if the new parents lived in Port Charlotte, Fl.!

Mary, I was so sad to hear about your Mom's accident. I hope she has a speedy recovery and you enjoy your 'return' to the bay area. Both Speck quilts are great! Safe travels.

Take good care of you and your mom. October must be "Mom Month" ... mine is having knee replacement surgery on October 1, and I'm waiting to see if she and my dad want me to come up and spend some time with them! That little kitten is such a darling -- I'm glad she was claimed by someone in Florida before I saw her!! LOL! Your Speck quilt is gorgeous -- I love that pattern!! :)

Sorry to hear about your Mom's mishap. Hope she mends fully and quickly. I saw your Little Bites on Sherri's parade today. Love your fabric choices. I didn't think I would like this as much as I do. I made both versions as well. They were a bit challenging, not sure why...but I am glad I persevered. Looking forward to seeing what you do for next months parade.

I am so glad that you left this one as your last post. I love coming back to look for a new post... but I love seeing these pictures of Peace n Plenty each time and the little quilt... and the cat! Hope all is well. xxoo
