My Crew and Winner Announced

The month of May wasn't completely rotten!  My oldest son graduated from NC State!  Woo Hoo!!
Here I am with my younger son the morning of his high school graduation.  Actually he had two graduations in May.  He did not attend the traditional high school but rather Early College High School.  Notice that bowtie?  A big deal for him as he is headed to Appalachian State!  Woo Hoo!!  Since he has already completed his core work at the community college he will be a Junior after his first semester at Appalachian!
Most of my blog friends know that I have two boys and long for a daughter.  This is Joyce.  My oldest son's girlfriend since junior year in high school.  To my younger son a bit pesky at times.  LOL
Joyce graduated from Meredith College in May too!  Does she look happy or what?!  Always bubbly and all so girly!   I have BIG NEWS....HUGE NEWS......she will be my FIRST DAUGHTER!  It's official they are engaged!  My husband and I couldn't be happier!!  She is a great addition and perfect fit to our family!

Perhaps more good news but I won't hold my breath....the real estate office called yesterday and our house will have a showing on Monday.  The last time it had a showing was some time in April.

The bag of cross stitch patterns winner is Sue-Simply Pieceful Quilting!!  Just as soon as you send my your snail mail I will get it out to you!

Wonderful news all around! How exciting to be getting a new daughter. I know I love the one I have who married my son. Congratulations on the graduations too. The younger son was wise to do the courses to advance his college. My Kaje' has been out of high school for a year (just got married last weekend) and is already a Junior-plus a few credits. Saves a ton of money and gets them ahead in life. Wish my other kids would have done this. Again, congrats and we'll pray for the best with the showing Monday!

You have a beautiful crew, Mary! So much exciting news to celebrate - woohoo!!!!

Get busy cleaning, Mary so that your house just sparkles for the showing. Even bake some bread or cookies so that it smells really homey and don't forget to add some fresh cut flowers too! When people see all the "homeyness" they won't want to leave. My fingers and toes are crossed that these are the buyers of your house.

Your youngest son looks just like you, especially his eyes.

Congrats to both of them for their accomplishments and also on your son's engagement. How proud you and Mr. QH must be.

Congratulations on all the graduations and the great news of the engagement.
June was busy here as Michelle graduated from high school on the
8th and from Wenatchee Valley College on the 15th.
I then spent 4 days (5 with the drive to our starting place) doing the Western WA Shop Hop - 48 shops!
Michelle just had her Discovery Days at Central WA University where she will go in September.
Our kids rock!
