Country Homecoming Quilt A-Long

I'm experiencing some frustrations at moment with my sideways, window and doorless picture!!  But I wanted to be sure to post today with Anne and friends.  Several of us bloggers are working simultaneously on making Country Homecoming Quilt above.  Well, actually they are well ahead of me as I only made one block and it isn't even finished.  You can see some beautiful blocks at Anne's and at Paulette's blog as I see she posted some good ones today!

On the frame next is Val's beautiful Swiss Chocolate quilt.  I wish you all a Happy Mother's Day!!

May does sound crazy for you, Mary. I know you will do the month with ease.

I just love seeing all of the little houses out in blogland right now. Windowless, doorless...who cares? They are still cute.

Happy Mother's day to you too!
The Swiss Chocolate is lovely! The house quilt will come together in its time, just keep chipping away a little at a time.
Have a great day.
Always, Queenie

What!!! Here I am checking my emails and blogs at the Orlando airport and I see today's post! I adore your house! It will make a grand quilt when finished! My quilt in the frame too...a great day! Swiss Chocolate was/is a free pattern from Amanda Murphy and Robert Kaufman fabric and works up wonderfully! Happy Mothers day to you and all the mothers!!

I have discovered that if i tip my camera sideways when I take a photo, it will show up sideways in blogger~ even after i have righted it and re-sized it... did you by any chance hold your camera sideways? I love the houses! I would join y'all, but I don't have that pattern. ..or the time for another project! LOL Lovely quilt! Have a happy day!

I do love that house quilt--but I still haven't made that Schnibbles variation of the houses that you posted sometime ago. I did finally get the instructions. Your work is always so inspiring, Mary!

I think every quilter loves houses in their quilts and quilts with only houses. There is just something about them that appeals to us! You houses look wonderful, I can't wait to see it all finished.
