Do You Whittle and Are You My Winner?

Monica's post last weekend was titled, "Do you Whittle?" I do now! Look at these yummy fabrics that I purchased. The above is Jo Morton's Variety line. There are 13 FQ's and care to guess what I paid? $19.00 You read that correctly! I wished I would have purchased a few more to gift but now they are sold out.

There is a variety of fabrics at Whittle's Fabrics and most only $5 a yard!! The above is another fun purchase of background civil wars. It was one of those brown bag type purchases so I had no idea what I would get. Care to guess how much this set me back? Just $12 bucks!

I've done very little in the way of quilting for myself since I've got client quilts. I do have some other fun things to share but will save for another post because really your here to see if you won patterns right?

Denise would you please tell me which two patterns you would like from the previous post. You are the first place winner! Sandie you will receive the leftover three patterns. Ladies, please send me your snail mails so I can pop them in the mail to you! Congratulations and thank you again to Debbie at Little Stitches for the patterns.

There is a person named Wendy who leaves me the sweetest comments on many of my post. I cannot reply to you because you are set a no reply blogger. This bums me out and so many comments were left to win the patterns with no way for me to contact you if you won.

Beautiful reds, and great price. I try and hit our prim store, once I month and hit the bargain aisle. I also get some fat quarters, they seem cheaper that way, lol.

What a great haul you got from Whittles! I think it'd be fun to get a group together and do a fat 1/8 swap or something where everyone buys a yard of fabric from Whittles.

And congrats to the winners!

After seeing Monica's blog, I now Whittle. I went right to their online store and started ordering. I've forgotten what I ordered, and since I live in Canada, it will take a few weeks to get here. But what a surprise I'll get when the package does arrive. Your fabric choices are awesome. Congrats to the two pattern winners.

I was trying to keep the Whittle's secret to myself. I'm so lucky because I live only an hour away and they come to our local quilt show and set up shop, also.

Haha! I have whittled and it's fun--but not nearly as fun as your version! And THANK YOU! I'd love to have the two patterns first pictured -- Spring It On and Spring Outing. All of them were very cute and she's got some wonderful things on her site! Whoohoo!!!!!

I Whittle also - love the fabrics you received. Not sure what is going on with EBlogger - but half of the blogs I follow have been taken off my blog roll so I have not been up-to-date on postings. Judy C

I Whittle, too!

Yes, I Whittle, and way too often. I don't need another inch or FQ or yardage cut from them, but those prices are just way too tempting.

Oh dear -- I see 2 words to type for verification. I HATE what blogger has done to us. One word is clear, and it looks like the other word is melting.

thanks for reminding me about whittle. beautiful fabrics.
Oh no, it's 2 word verification, yikes, wish me luck!

The Jo Morton reds are so appealing..but I mustn't be tempted by yet more fabric.
I sent an inquiry re a quilting estimate via email earlier this week--sounds like you're currently very busy. Should I look for another quilter or join a waiting list? I'm not in a rush, but need to make plans.

Deb said...

The new fabric is beautiful, but especially those reds, WOW! congrats to the winners.

Mary, I had was just re-committing to my resolve of not buying more fabric unless I had a specific project I was doing. Now I will have to buy some Civil War and Jo's from Whittle. Thanks for sharing that - what a find. Hope you are well! I miss Jo's Club.

I'm lucky enough to Whittle in person. About every two weeks -- last Saturday was the most recent visit. So fun to wander and play and pull fabrics and talk to everyone. I definitely Whittle -- way too much. Jan
