Hexagon Blocks For Sale

Years ago I made a purchase from E-Bay for these hand pieced beauties thinking that I would finish putting them together into a quilt. (insert a chuckle here)

So many pretties. I believe 68 blocks in all.

Hexagons pieces are 1" finished.

A few of the blocks do have some stains or yellowing.

I've come to the realization that I will NEVER finish this quilt especially since I have a simliar top I need to finish and still show you. Anyway...getting side tracked here so I'll get to the point. Do you have any idea of what I should sell these for or what would you be willing to pay to have them? Also, if you want them feel free to email me away from the blog comments with a bid for them. You may be pleasantly surprised at what I would be willing to let them go for!!

UPDATE!!! The blocks have SOLD and heading to a wonderful new home! Thank you for those who expressed interest!

Beautiful blocks but I have a zillion of my own to sew, lol. There is always a buyer for anything we don't want, it is just a matter of the right person seeing it. No idea what I would charge, especially with all that work.

Oh. My. Goodness. !!!

Just the size I am working on for my GFG. However, because I am full of pride and other nonsense, I prefer to work my GFG completely from my hands.

On the other hand, these are some real beauties and the thought of purchasing for another project is tempting.

I'll get back with you :)

I have no idea on a price but it will be interesting to see what you let them go for! I've currently lost my sewing sanctuary for about eight months until my daughter gets married (son coming home soon and gets his room back) so sewing will be a rare thing for sure for a bit. I don't mind though bz I'd rather have my family around me any day!

Look on ebay and etsy and see if there are any similar blocks currently selling. They are tempting, but I have my own GFG that is not getting finished. These are beautiful blocks. Would make a lovely quilt!

Hey there! Wow, those are beautiful. And I am tempted to buy them, because the only way I am ever going to have hexies is to buy them already made by someone else! LOL! Problem is, I probably wouldn't know how to sew them together! I'll call you tomorrow and we can discuss it!

I love that they are not English paper pieced, but hand stitched the regular way. I'm working on one myself in the same way. I love GFG's, and am really tempted to bid on this.....hmmmmm.....I might just email you with a bid!
