Please do not miss this post!

I like all my post to have a photo this is why I'm giving another peek of some quilting I've been doing for Cheryl's new book. I absolutely love quilting on this block. Don't you?

Another one of my favorite bloggers is Carol from Brown Quilts. I read with a very heavy heart last night her plea. My husband served 23 years in the military. We truly appreciated people like Carol's friend and I want to be sure to help spread word here on my own blog. Please take a moment and read her post (tissues in hand).

There is a pattern... several actually... for pillowcases on this site: http://www.allpeoplequilt.com/millionpillowcases/freepatterns/

I'll be joining in helping Carol's friend spread the love and appreciate that we all share for those who are serving/have served our country!

Wow, Mary - I am in on the pillowcases. My Golden Girl friends and I make pillowcases for ConKerr Cancer kids and we use the "Hot Dog" or "Burrito" style instructions as we have found that to be the easiest and finishes the nicest. Found on the internet. or just email me and I will just tell you how to do them quickly. They are addicting as they go so fast. Judy C

Very very sad news for such a dedicated quilter--I volunteered to make two pillowcases by the end of the month.
