Town Square Nearly Finished!

Yesterday was I was able to get the borders on Town Square and on my longarm ready to quilt.

I've decided to quilt this with a very simple edge to edge pattern and nothing fancy. This quilt is meant to be used and washed many times over. I plan to bind it this evening. The party continues here in the hollow! You can see more about the sewing party that took place yesterday here. I think a few of us are continuing on this afternoon.

I'm working on my first block from the book you mentioned in one of your last posts...Star Magic. I'm making a Lone Star block. I've never used this book before and hope I do it right!

Hi Mary! This is so pretty. You are the fastest quilter. I wish my hands could quilt as fast. A quilt that you know is going to be well used are the best.

But alas...I am back to my stitching now as I want to get some done since I have been crocheting so much lately...

A wonderful project and done so fast! I had the pleasure of taking a class from Nancy Johnson-Serebo and love her techniques and accuracy. Need to pick up this book too and make some "Star Magic". Thank you for showing us your project!

Wow, Mary! Another beauty!

I too use all my quilts...even my antique ones. That's what they were made for, right?

Turned out fantabulous but I did miss you at Statesville yesterday. Wow, what a show! Bigger and busier than Sanford.

Still glad for you that you finished a wonderful little quilt.

Your block is wonderful - you're making me wonder if I've still got my copy of that book, and if so where on earth is it?
