Thanks and A Peek Post

A special gift arrived for me from Nancy E. (no blog). I absolutely love critters and Susan Wheeler's illustrations just tug at my heart strings. Thank you Nancy for this delightful book!

Well my quilt holder person isn't cooperative today so you get a peek of an awesome quilt. It's huge and lots of swirl quilting adds wonderful texture.
Do not miss tomorrow's post! I'm just saying. I get to spill one of my secrets I've been keeping from you!

What a cute book! I love the black/white/red quilt, it's so dramatic and the swirl quilting just really sets it off. Now you've got me curious as to what secret you have been keeping from us. I'll tune in tomorrow! By the way, we have snow here tonight. It's laying on the roads and we are suppose to and inch or 2 tonight. Then possibly up to 6" tomorrow.

Too funny...when I saw the cover of Kim's lovely new book I thought I had seen that pattern before. I went through my pile of "original" quilt patterns and it is almost EXACTLY like a doodle I did on graph paper 2 years ago! Except I started with 2 inch strips and left one block as just the neutral background. I called my doodle "missing link". BOY, it ia a small quilt world!! Love the looks of the book!

In stitches,
Teresa :o)
