Piecing Town Square

Town Square is one of Kim's patterns that can be found in her newest book called, "Scrap Basket Sensations."

I'm using Moda's Portabella Market just as Kim's in the photo. Kim had shared a sneak peek with me when she was making this top. I already had a jelly roll of Portabella Market set aside but not the backing or border print. The next thing I knew a little gift package showed up for my birthday with the rest of the fabrics I needed to make this quilt. When the book arrived last Saturday I couldn't wait to get started.
At the Connecting Threads website Kim's book is already on the bestsellers page and on sale. You are going to love this book.

Perfect fabrics for this quilt. You're jumping right in and will have it done in no time.

I'm not surprised that her new book is already considered a best-seller. Kim showed her creative, inventive talents with the first book, and this one follows right along with exciting quilts once again.

I can't wait to get my hands on this book! It looks awesome!

By the way, I contacted Typepad and I think we've figured the problem out...am I still a no-reply blogger?

That's still one of my favorite fabric lines. Wish I could find more of it. Hope you're enjoying your piecing time. And thanks so much for your kind words.

This looks wonderful. I haven't gotten the book yet, but it's on the list. If I break down and order one thing online, it's like opening the flood gates and I buy LOTS. Hubby and I are going away for the weekend, maybe I'll find it when I am out and about. Can't wait!

You are moving right along on this project. Lucky you to get the fabric you needed for your birthday.

I ordered the book from Connecting Threads at 40% off. Great price for a book that is new on the market.

Oh my Mary that's going to be awesome when you get it finished. I was just looking for a pattern to make with a older Blackbird jelly roll. That might be it.
