Oh My Stars!

This past weekend I spent some time piecing about 40 4.5" star blocks. I'll share why soon enough but for now just had to share these little morsels!

I want more of this fabric! I'm guessing it is about two years old. I purchased the last two FQ's at the Hampton Quilt Show.

Scold me girls! I'm way behind in acknowledging my thank you! Cindy sent me the Santa quilt kit and notepad for the heck of it. I won a $50 FQ gift certificate from Monica applied it to my newest Jo fabrics called Spice Chest, and when I spied the "....and sew on" quilt sign at Carol's blog I just had to have one to had to my collection. In addition, Carol made the needle case as a sweet surprise. Love my blog buds! Thank you for thinking of me.

Love the stars and love the Jo's! I haven't gotten Spice Chest yet, but it and Annendale are on my list of "must haves" (too bad about my fabric buying moratorium! LOL) Can't help you with the Mary Koval fabric (Schoolhouse Quilts may still have it: http://www.schoolhousecottons.com/cgi-bin/Store/store.cgi?product=1800_Reproduction&productid=5051&tracking4=search%205051&pid=1#5051), but can't wait to see what you do with it!
Blessings,
Mary Lou

Very cute little stars! 40 isn't enough for a border, unless you are making a mini. ;-) Pretty fabric, I don't think I have it either. Great gifts! I love the sign too. Have a happy day!

I have never had any of that fabric. Hope someone can help you out.

No help with the Koval fabric from me. I have a large stash of repo fabrics, but that's not one I own.
Your stars will go into a memorable project, I'm sure. Looking forward to seeing it.

Oooh a sneak peek, cute stars!! I'm going to p & s today, my group moved from etc. I'll be leaving my wallet at home (okay my credit card, but I'll take a few dollars - maybe a fat quarter at the very least). Wish me luck on my self-restraint!
