I'm Still Here....

I received a few emails asking if all was ok since I hadn't posted in several days. Just busy with a variety of things from contractor in my kitchen, doctor visit for an unexpected sick kid, varied errands and some quilting.

This was a custom quilt I did for a gal who doesn't blog but found my blog. I wished the work I did on this one would show up better.

Then I received this envelope in the mail that brought a big smile to my face! It feels so good to know she liked my work. I think the mail carrier knows too! LOL

what an amazing quilt....

It is so hard to keep up with everyone out here in blogland. I have decided that I will go to those who come to mine and then if I have time, go out search those I follow.

I get behind on alot but I want to sew and this computer time cuts into alot of the sew time.

Have a great week-end.....what a fun letter.

What a wonderful thing to write on the envelope, it sure does feel good. I get more pleasure when a customer is thrilled with something I have made, than the actual money, lol. I love the quilting i can see on the close up, you make the quilt come alive.

Love that, you should get labels printed up that say quilter extraordinare. Well, that may seem a little over the top. But still from the beautiful work on this quilt (and all your others) you've earned it. Love that quilt, the rose blocks and the black, the fabrics, all just stunning.

Is that the new granite I see peaking out from behind this lovely quilt? Praise for a job well done is certainly called for - helps lift you up and keep you working your magic at the frame! :-D

lovely quilt and the envelope is a riot - love it! :)
have you ever tried draping a quilt over a chair or couch by a lamp or outdoors in sunlight. sometimes the light will hit it better for showing off your lovely quilting -
