Mary, THank you for the chance to win. As a loyal follower there is absolutely nothing that I can say that I do not like about your blog. I can say that I have enjoyed all the fabulous quilting you do for your customers and that in itself is an inspiration.

Mary, What's not to like? Your blog is fabulous and everything you quilt is wonderful. Love those photo's of the hairless kitty at the sewing machine, too cute. I hope that does it. Thanks for the chance to win.

Thanks for the chance to enter, but I never win, lol. But it's fun to look at the blogs.

Well, you might have known I'd pop up! My favourite thing about your blog is simply seeing your quilting. I love to see how you choose to LA quilt both customers' and your own quilts.

While I've been a follower for awhile and many things have interested me, a few stand out in my mind. One is your love for animals and how you have given comfort to even those who don't belong to you...but need some human interaction! Of course, your beautiful quilting can't help but impress, too!!! (So I'd love to get something quilted by you someday.)

Mama Spark said...

I have followed you for quite awhile. I like your quilting stories and most recently the Bunny Hill basket quilt was fabulous!

I read all your posts but love your list of other quilters blogs as being so diverse and interesting. So I get a "two for" benefit from reading your blog. :-)

You have inspired me to do a schnibbles quilt. I have bought a pattern book and two charm packs to do a quilt. Now I can't find the book! Eventually, it will show up and I can make a schnibbles.

Morning, Mary! What a generous giveaway! I have just finished a Schnibble that would be perfect for your giveaway:) I love your idea of having folks read through your blog. Wish I had thought of that. One thing I have done lately, is go back and read some of the back posts of new blogging friends. It's a great way to learn more about a blogging friend. I see that we were married about the same time (1987 for me) We have sons about the same age. We both love giveaways:) Have a wonderful weekend!

Susan said...

Oh my goodness...I've been reading your blog for years now! I am always impressed by your beautiful quilts and quilting!

What I like about your blog is it feels like you're going to visit a friend. I like your honesty with the struggles with the Go and then the honesty with learning to really love it. I also like that you told us how you got helps on how to use it and make the basket handles.

Also, I got the give-away stuff and the extra surprise! Thank you so much! I was truly surprised by the coaster. I won't have time to blog about it until early next week as I have company here from out of town and will just be on the computer to work for a few days. Thank you so much. I love it! I'll blog it as quick as I can. I think you'll like what I'm doing with it! Oh, thanks for the heads up on all the give-aways too!

Thank you for talking about Dawn's new book - I have bookmarked her site and will be going back to get the particulars - it's so hard to find good juicy and appealing quilt and stitchery books.
Please enter me for the giveaway.

I looked through your blog and had already some things in mind that I liked and wanted to put down here ... then I saw your story about Lexie, your neighbours dog. That touched my heart. I love animals and have a dog myself. Whenever I see or hear about people that treat animals or pets not nicely my heart aches. I do not understand your neighbour. You were so kind and nice and I think she should have been happy for her dog that he has a friend and someone to spend time with ... just sad!

Thanks for offering your giveaway. You are of course welcome to come by my blog and enter my giveaway, too ...
Have a great weekend!

Thank you for the Fall into Fall giveaway stop on the blog hop. Alternate email mlwright29 (at) hotmail (dot) com
My favorite quilt of yours is the Schnibbles entry (I voted for you in the readers choice vote). And, I get to see that quilt when I visit your blog. Your quilting is just gorgeous.

I've read some of your earlier posts and I really like the idea of the spool blocks as small pincushions. Great idea for gifts for quilting friends. Thanks for the giveaway.

I really like the colours of your blog and enjoy seeing the quilted quilts. One 'complaint' for me is I'd like to see more posts listed before having to click on 'older posts'. I like to read all. the. way. down. :) I agree with *earning* your followers. I was a little suspect with the GO! frenzy. Glad to see you got a 'handle' on the baskets. Cute giveaway prizes. Thanks for the chance.

I've followed your blog for awhile and was really sad with the story about your neighbor's dog. I think I would've just kept giving the poor thing attention. Thanks for the great giveaway!

I love the designs you use on your long arm machine. I would love to have one but have no room for one.

I'm a relatively new blogger. I think my first blog was in July. That's only 3 months and only 17 posts. I'm struggling but am enjoying the blogland journey. I was following you before this giveaway and love the pictures of your wonderful quilting. I'm hoping to be doing the same very soon. No computer on my machine, I'll be hand guiding my machine so I'm sure it will take me a month of Sundays before I'm happy with my quilting. Thanks bunches

I've been a reading your blog for the last six months. I really enjoy it. And you have a love for animals just like me even if they don't belong to you. Your quilting is just lovely.

Gloria said...

I read your blog daily and like seeing your quilting and the concern you show for neighborhood animals especially Lexie.

I am also a longarm quilter and have enjoyed seeing your quilting on customer quilts.

I see a cute little cat on your button ...I do love cats

Violette Severin said...

The reason I hand piece and quilt is because of that little problem with the cat. My cats get too close to the machine when I am working that I am afraid to use it. By the way, can a 120 inch square quilt by quilted by machine? I have always thought that it would be too big to get on a quilting machine. I have a charm quilt that I made a few years ago that needs quilting and it is too big for me to even try quilting it. Let me knowl

Hello Mary,
I've had a look at your blog and I'm very impressed with your long arm quilting. I'm just starting to machine quilt and I see long arm quilting as something amazing that I can't imagine doing myself, maybe one day...
What I like the most, or caught my attention was the lovely pictures of the pets that come to visit in your yard. I love animals and it's so nice that you keep dog biscuits and treats for them.

thanks for the chance to win!

Wow! This is an amazing giveaway!!! Hmmmm..... Where to begin. I love all the quilts you make. I especially like the quilting you do on your quilts. I like it when you show the quilting you've done for your customers. I like that you show your progress on projects, making the blocks, any frustrations you might have encountered. Just all the real stuff. You share giveaways, and pass on info about things going on in blogland. That's always a bonus. I would never have gotten the oppurtunity to receive a GO! If you had not shared!!! That means a lot to me!! Thanks for the chance to win and thanks for having such a great blog!!!

Happy Fall Mary :)
Why am I here? I'm a regular who enjoys you, your love of animals, all things quilting, eagerly sharing your completed quilt work.
A negative? More about me than you...my sparse pocketbook doesn't give me extras, hence I complete all my own quilting. But I don't believe you'll ever hold this against me, Ms. dear longarm-quilter :)
