This was fun!

A few weeks back I was contacted by Subee Sews Quilts to quilt her Crabapples quilt top from Bonnie Hunter's book called, "Adventures with Leaders & Enders." You betcha I told her; along with if you can get the top to me before Thursday I can show it to Bonnie since we are spending the day together. Suzanne just might be Bonnie's #1 fan! So here you go Suzanne! Bonnie's holding your quilt top in my living room.

Oh my gosh, what a wonderful quilt. AND, how fun is it that Subee now has a picture of the designer holding up her quilt. I'll just bet you have given her a real treat Mary and Bonnie. Way to go!!! Big hugs.

What a beautiful quilt, looks like Bonnie likes it too. How awesome that you were able to spend time with Bonnie. The book that this quilt came from sounds like one I wouldn't mind having.

Oh that's cool! I just got Bonnie's book when she was here in Pittsburgh (autographed too!) and that is the 1st quilt I want to make from it.

Looks like it would fit right in with your decor, Mary. It's beautiful...the quilt and your living room!

I would have a really hard time giving some of these quilts back. But how many times can you say that someone broke in overnight and made off with it?

Great job ladies!

Beautiful quilt. I bought Bonnie's book because of that pattern.
I can't think of anything much more memorable that could happen to a quilt than the photo you took for SuBee. That's going to be a favor that's hard to top!

Sadly, it looks like we won't get to meet Bonnie. She was booked to come in 2012 but has canceled her Canadian dates. It seems border guards are busy protecting us from quilters.
