Quickly A Post

Thanks to those wondering where I have been all week. I'm here. Just been a wee bit busy. I do have my Schnibbles to share but hadn't taken a photo yet. The other evening hubby was looking at my blog and says, "Sweetie, you haven't posted" Then goes on to say, "You will lose your followers." I just have to laugh. This said from a guy who doesn't blog but reads mine! He brought me these flowers mid-week "just cause."

Earlier in the week an Easter surprise arrived from Cindy. She sent sweet rolls of Jo Morton fabrics and honey bun pattern. Cindy has been such a joy for me as I get to know her more and more each time we email. We found each other through blogging and I can't say it enough; blogging friends are awesome!

But wait there is more! Another Easter delivery from another good blogging friend Candace. Yummy chocolates are in that gift bag she made along with "M" for Mary notepad! I can't say enough good things about Candace.....wish we could meet and go fishing together!

The tree outside my home was absolutely spectacular yesterday morning and look at that sky! (sorry Stina....but Spring is here!)

Lastly and because I know he reads! Hee!! This is hubby's new hobby. For the first time in all our years he now has time on his hands to tinker and play. Boy you should see his eyes light up with delight when he is with this...what I call "Jalopy!" He hates for me to call it that...it is his new toy and like a kid he is excited.
Alrighty then a post for today is done but I will be back very soon with quilt related photos and possible a little giveaway just cause I have neglected here.

You definitely married well. :) You can let him know your followers aren't going anywhere. (Some of us are more like stalkers.) Ha!

Those are beautiful gifts from Cindy and Candace. And I like hubby's new toy. Looks like a lot of fun. Can't wait to see what you've been working on!

I love all of your goodies...especially the flowers from Hubby! Cindy is such a sweetheart and her blog posts always make me laugh.

Aren't you glad that Hubby now has a hobby also? Something to keep him away from your fabric. Plus, I can't wait to see you riding around in the Jalopy :0)

Enjoy the rest of the weekend!

Hi Mary,
You deserve all the wonderful gift. Those Jo Morton fabrics are so yummy.
To Hubby, love your land cruiser. My Hubby is working on a 1963 one. Just wish he could retire to be able to work on it more.
Happy Spring

That is so cool your hubby reads your blog. I don't think you need to worry about people not reading your blog anymore because we all get busy and we all enjoy your blog to much to quit reading. Lovely flowers.
And that Cindy and Candace are such sweeties for sure.

Gorgeous flowers -- and lovely gifts!! It must be a man thing -- Mr. Q.O. doesn't blog either, reads my blog and asks me if I'm posting anything on weekends, when I normally don't.

Glad you like your little goodies, Mary - and isn't Cindy so sweet! We have those flowering pear trees all over town here - they are so gorgeous! You won't believe it, but Mr. Squash has a Jeep that looks just like your hubby's new "toy"!! They could go off-roading together!!
Cheers!

"Aaaah", to the flowers.

"Mmmmmm", to the gifts from Cindy and Candace.

"Woo hoo", to the fact that Spring is blooming in your front yard.

"Yo", to the cool Jeep parked in your driveway. All that's missing is a quilt on the passenger seat. *wink*

Nice to meet you Mary's hubby and kudos to you for bringing home flowers just because.
Nice jalopy and I agree all it needs now is a quilt ;)
Not fair! posting such a pretty pic of a "spring-time" tree!

Mary, Don't you just love those special "just cause" surprises? I often think they are more fun than a gift for a special occasion. Though I'm not complaining about those either, LOL. Beautiful flowers (way to go hubby)!!! Your gifts are so great, wonderful fabrics and yum...those chocolates. As for the hubby's new 'Jalopy', well, you can tell him that my hubby's eyes lit up when I showed it to him. He immediately said exactly what I knew he would, "I've always wanted one of those" and indeed he has. I remember when we were in our 30's (waaayyyyy back when) he was looking at used ones but I pointed out to him that we need a good dependable family car and we couldn't afford both. Ah well, he got his Goldwing motorcycle in 2004 new off the showroom floor. Well, it's ours, I picked it out actually, so I guess it was a fair trade off from the landcruiser huh? Oh, and your tree is gorgeous, I do hope spring comes quickly to Utah, it was snowing here Friday and very cold yesterday. Today it's a little bit better but still in the 40's. Can't wait to see your Schnibbles. Hugs coming your way.

What a great guy to read your blog and worry about you losing followers! I wouldn't worry about that bz we all keep coming back so we must really like what you post. Do you get to ride around in hubby's new hobby? Is he restoring it or just having it for fun? Can't believe the blossoms on your trees. Our's aren't even thinking of budding out yet. Soon, oh please soon, lol! I agree that blogging buddies are the best. They just can't be beat!

Now THAT'S my kind of jalopy!!! We used to have a CJ7 jalopy. Now we have four wheel quads, a fifth wheel and play even harder. Oh, oh, oh - your hubby would have so much fun with my hubby - PLAYING.

Aren't big boy toys fun? Mary - you'd enjoy coming along too - we have way too much fun going quadding (ATVing). If your hubby is happy with his jalopy - you two just need to head on over here. We leave from our driveway on quads and immediately go to the hills/woods.

"Just Because" I love ya so much - you won't get rid of me as a follower.

Love those "just 'cause" flowers--they're the best! And how sweet of hubby to care about your blogging, despite his new focus.

I haven't blogged in a while, either--can't think of too much to say.

Flowers "just because" are the best kind. My mom always said the same...don't bring flowers when I'm dead if you didn't bring them when I'm alive. :o) Awesome blogs friends...great Mr.
