Random Acts of Kindness (RAK)

In yesterday's post I neglected to say I first saw Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) posted on Darlene's blog and she referred back to Kaaren's blog. This isn't my idea. It is just one that I liked alot. It makes perfect sense to me to delight and surprise friends randomly.

My friend made me this big size bag a few years back and I don't believe I've shown it before.

You can get a ton of goodies in that bag!
Darlene's blog was the first mention of RAK that I had seen and I was the recipient of one of her gifts and also one of yours. I think it is a wonderful idea.

What a beautiful bag! I really need to make a bag or two, and some pin cushions, and more quilts, LOL. So many projects, so little time (um, literally **sigh**) I wish I had started quilting years ago, I look around peoples homes that have beautiful quilts everywhere and think how warm and inviting their homes look with the quilts. There is just something about them. They touch my heart. THAT was leading up to the idea of your RAK post. Though you said the idea wasn't yours, it still speaks volumns that you picked it up and ran with it. That is the kind of thing that tells those of us out here in cyberspace what a wonderful heart you have. I love the idea and though I don't have a blog, I hope next year to try throughout the year to do some RAK, whether it surprises one of my wonderful friends in blogland or a total stranger matters not. It is the idea of caring enough to be kind. Thanks Mary for passing on this wonderful idea.

What a wonderful bag. Seeing how much you can get in it, I started thinking about how much fabric you could get in if you took it to a quilt shop with you!
