Pay It Forward Arrived Today!!

Several months ago Kaaren offered a Pay It Forward (PIF) on her blog for the first three people promising to PIF to three others, and it continues on from there. Today Kaaren's gift to me arrived! She made a pretty needlecase and she wanted me to have one of her painted pieces. It is a reproduction pencil box and one of her one-of-a-kind original designs. These are just wonderful and so me! Thanks Kaaren.

My three PIFs for the year were Stina, Carol and Lisa. Each received their PIF this year. I've decided rather than doing another PIF that I will do Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) every now and then this upcoming year. I've thoroughly enjoyed receiving a few myself this past year and know personally the joy it brings to find the unsuspecting surprise in the mailbox.
I'm ending the year with 14 packages ready to hit the post office first thing Monday morning to unsuspecting bloggers who have in one way or another really touched my heart this year. I can't mail to all but then this does leave me a few for those RAKs I plan to start next year!

I love your PIF gifts. Kaaren did a great job with the painting, very nice. Wow, 14 gifts, you've been busy. That's so nice of you. I like your idea of RAK's. I may do that too.

I tried to to a PIF just a couple of weeks ago and nobody wanted in :(

SO I think I'm going to do RAK instead. I was inspired by a RAK that somebody gave to me... so I'll continue down that road next year too :)

I love your gifties!!! and your blog too <3 Merry Christmas

Kaaren is surely a talent, isn't she? She paints so beautifully, a true treasure to keep.

I think RAKs are so thoughtful and special - totally unsuspected, wonderful boxes arrive at any given moment from someone's heart. What giving people there truly are in this world.

Those are beautiful pieces, she really put a lot of thought into them. I am resigning to only rak this year myself, swaps have become too much and I just like to make things, because.

Beautiful treasures from Kaaren.

You'll recall I swore off doing swaps a couple months ago in favor or RAK's - just makes more sense to me. We're on the same wave length. :-)
