Feeling Loved

Gloria (no blogger's) quilt is finished and I reluctantly took it to the post office to mail back to her today. The quilting is simply feathers.
The quilt was a good size at 100 x 82.5. My quilt holder (as Carol calls her hubby) is standing on a chair and says he won't need his work out today after holding it up for me to snap my photos.

Here is a little package I won over at Vicki's blog. How fun to receive not only two charm packs but a yard of coordinating fabric to go with! Thanks Vicki. I'm thinking Schnibble quilt? Any ideas?
Remember my mentioning Random Acts of Kindness? Well Cindy you surely surprised me with this one! Cindy and I have been getting to know each other through blogging as I do many of you. She is a joy and I hope you'll check out her blog, stop in and say hello! The above shows my Christmas gifts and also a wrapped birthday gift for my upcoming day.

Cindy told me to open my birthday present early. When I did I found this beautiful apron! I don't have one and have been wanting one! It came in time for my holiday baking too! Oh and look at the coffee novelty prints! It is perfect Cindy. She also sent an ornament she applique embroidered! Her work is amazing! I can't say it enough but I honestly think some of my bestest friends are ones I've met in blogland. Now if I could just get us all centrally located!!

This RAK came last week and I'm so late posting it! Carolyn (no blogger) found my blog a few months back and liked the scarecrow quilt. She asked about the pattern and I sent it to her. I did not expect a thing in return! Carolyn sent a pretty butterfly potholder, tin with a mini sewing kit and those wonderful quilted ornaments too! She really, really surprised me with this because I looked at the return address and didn't recognize the name. She explained in her note card. Thanks Carolyn....I was happy to help you!!

If anyone deserves some RAK's, it is you. You are always so kind to people and visit their blogs and say nice things...help with good advice, etc. I'm glad you got those two surprise packages in the mail. Your customer's quilt is lovely, too...and I'm sure she will be thrilled with your quilting.

RAK's if only the whole world would get in the act, just a word or a helping hand for someone, it makes both parties feel wonderful!

Gloria's quilt is a complete masterpiece. I recognize many of the fabrics and am trying to place the pattern. Is it one from the Blended Quilts books? It looks so familiar. Beautiful quilting!

It must be fun to get the mail at your house...great little packages. Yes, I agree...some of my blog friends know me better than the folks I work with everyday! It would be wonderful to meet in person someday.

Have a wonderful holiday season. ~Natalie

It's nice to see all the lovely things flowing in and out of the Hollow. :) I have to say there's much to comment on but I'm going to just choose my personal eye-catching favorite. The Apron! Gosh I love that for you. I love everything and certainly don't mean to leave anything out but a girl -sometimes- likes to focus in on things. ...and oh wait, DH is so cute as the Chief Quilt Holder of the Hollow. hee!

The RAK and birthday treats are such fun gifts! A Schnibble quilt would be a nice idea...seems that somebody has been busy doing her own RAKs this week. :-)

Gloria's quilt is so pretty, I have always been drawn to the star quilts. Another great job of the quilting, too.

Awesome quilting on a beautiful quilt, Mary. I don't know how you can send all these beautiful works of art back to their owners. I'd want to keep them all!

How exciting to see all the wonderful and well-deserved gifts you've received lately.

Enjoy your baking!

RAK's at this time of year are very special. Wouldn't it be nice if everyone would go out of their way to do something nice for someone?
Two charm packs and a bit of yardage can translate into SO many fun quilts!

What lovely gifts, I'm so glad you've been the victim of RAK. It all goes around and makes for a kinder world. Happy Birthday, whenever it is! I love the coffee fabric.

YOU are such a "kindness" to others that sending you a RAK is a pleasure.

Ooh, that quilt IS a good size. Is your quilting machine/table set up "large" permanently?
