A Christmas Thank You

Both Carol and Stina were two of my PIFs this past year. They each surprised me with Christmas gifts! Carol sent the adorable Schnibbles kit and Stina sent the wire angel with wool strawberry scissor fob. If it weren't for blogging these gals would have never entered my life. I'm thankful for them and the friendship we share.

Today I received an unexpected phone call from another blogger who I really enjoy and like bunches! Thank you for checking on me. *wink*

I don't blog photos of the gifts I receive to "show off" what I've received but rather show gratitude openly. This is me and the way I am. I was raised to always be appreciative and to show thanks. I'm thankful I was thought of and this is what means the most.

This is my last post for 2009. On Wednesday my husband and I will celebrate our 26th wedding anniversary. Some wonder why we married in the midst of the busy season...we can thank the military.

Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!

In the blogging world I think showing the pictures and openly saying thank you is the proper way to do it. I never thought you were showing off at all. :) It's great to have blogging buddies. Congratulations on the anniversary!

A BIG Happy Wednesday to you and hubby. Do you two have plans...I mean besides giving each other a kiss and a hug...LOL

I'm still working on my new PC -- the back up I've done all along is proving to have been worthless in my eyes - more of a pain than it's worth.

BUT - I DID get a great package I bought for Cindy on 12/24, lots of goodies on sale from Fat Quarter Shop. I just now went through the box and sorted everything. I was a good girl to myself....(she says as she smiles).

Here's wishing you and hubby peace, health and happiness in 2010......oh....and some fun blogging too.

Happy Anniversary Mary! Hope it is great. The surprise gifts are so nice, wonderful treasures. Speaking of that, I wanted to let you know that my giveaway treasures arrived today. Thank you so much, they are lovely. So soft and delightful to fondle and work with in one of my projects. Love the feel of fine fabric! Thanks again. OH, and have a Happy New Year if I'm not back online before then.

Happy Anniversary to you and your beloved. My husband and I were married on Boxing Day 1980 ( December26). My husband's family lived in different places and everyone was coming home for Christmas that year.
I hope that you had a fabulous celebration.
Warmest regards,

I am late but a very Happy 26th Anniversary!
I too think that showing your gifts from blog friends is a good way of thanking the person who sent them to you. After all, we are a visual group of people and often are connected by only by the internet.
