Quilt Show Pictures

Today I visited our guild's quilt show. This is a minature paper pieced quilt that is prettier in person. The quilt was designed and made by my friend Scott Murkin. I want to say the quilt was maybe 17" square? Tiny!!

My dear friend Sandi made her very first whole cloth quilt on her longarm. I'm proud of her!

This quilt was a challenge quilt that my friend Ann made for another guild last year. She entered it in our show this year. It just cracks me up everytime I see it.

I don't know this person but do know TALENT! I was told that all her quilts are hand pieced and hand quilted. This quilt below has more french knots than I could ever count!

Then here below is another bright and cheerful quilt made by Sandi. She used variegated thread for feathers over the the whole quilt. I didn't get a good photo but this quilt is joyful!

The picture below is just a small section of this gorgeous quilt. If I'm not mistaken it is also the same maker as the penguin one above. It was all hand pieced and quilted!

There were many wonderful quilts but I didn't take many photos since I was busy visiting then time got away from me so I had to leave.
Kim over at Magnolia Bay Quilts has some news to reveal tomorrow about a fun filled week ahead for us bloggers!
Now if your visiting because of my give away and want to enter please do so on the previous post and not this one.

I'm proud of your friend Sandi for this amazing whole cloth. Those aren't simple, are they? And the bright and cheerful quilt made my Sandi - I love thatttt!!! Thank you my friend for this great share!

Oh my word - can you just imagine how small those log cabins had to be to sew? Wonderful, wonderful job on that tiny little eye catcher!

These quilts are beauties. I'm always amazed at how much talent is "out there" - an endless ocean of creation.
