Blogger's Quilt Festival

I'm a participate in the Blogger's Quilt Festival. Although I've recently posted this tiny quilt I'm showing it again for those who may not have had a chance to see it. This quilt came about from using up scraps that would have otherwise been thrown away; exception of the brown print. Whenever I had left overs I would make little half square triangles and just kept them in a little baggy not knowing what they will become. This quilt will be given away to another blogger soon.

What a lucky blogger friend you have to receive such a lovely little quilt =0)

I do the same thing, I make little mini quilts out of the little corners I cut off when making other quilts.

Alas my little half squares just keep piling up...too lazy to square them up...too many to square up! Such a cute quilt, and as always your quilting is beautiful.

It's so cute. I save everything but all I have to show is sacks of scraps LOL

Nice idea. I may use it.
I'm about to start a project that will have lots of little triangles left over.

Us quilters can find use for the tiniest of pieces. Hubby has always been in a quandry as to why I keep every little piece of leftovers.

Your SCRAP is beautiful!!

It's amazing how quilters can use up every little bit of fabric and have very little waste. I think this beautiful quilt shows everyone the reason why we hang onto that small "scrap!" Thanks for sharing. Cindy

I've just this weekend created a heap of those little corners. Perhaps I'll have to sew them together and see what happens then?

That's a sweet quilt and someone will be very happy to receive it.
