Christmas Quilt

There is something to be said for using Shout Color Catcher sheets. I used two sheets and each came out a lovely pink.

Karen tells me the name of this quilt pattern is Cranbrook Christmas designed by Lynda Hall. Karen should know since she made the quilt top and the backing. Several months ago this unfinished quilt top along with several other tops arrived at my doorstep to be quilted. I quilt them in between all else. This one has been quilted for a while but the binding needed to be stitched and then a good wash, dry and crinkle.
The back looks like a whole other quilt doesn't it?

Thanks Karen for giving me such beautiful tops to play with. You're the best!

I absolutely LOVE it. Now, if you've had it a while, she's probably forgotten she ever gave it to you, so could you send it to me please?

One of your comments says we make a good team. We will have to pair up for more! I have ideas.
Lynda Hall would probably like a picture of the finished quilt.

Gorgeous quilt! I love the back too. I would probably keep flipping it back and forth. It would be like having two quilts!

LOve those dye catchers ever since they came on the market here. What a shame you have to give those quilts back but at least you get to enjoy them for awhile.

Aren't those color catchers great? I just washed a couple QOV quilts using them with no problem and such a pretty country pink they came out as.
I love the quilts you show. Your customers and friends do such beautiful work and you just enhance them to the next level. Good job. And thanks for the bday card. Had a nice day fabric shopping with a friend and evening with the family.

I put two of those color catchers in with my pinwheel quilt when I washed it and they came out the same pink color! I don't know exactly how they work but they're wonderful! :0)

Karen, I love your new header and "blog makeover"! The Color Catchers are just so good, but I looked for them in our new Wallies World and could not find them. It will be so sad if they are not going to carry them anymore. Beautiful Christmas quilt and quilting too!

Okay well this about does it! I was here, I even remember thinking about my comment. The delightful quilt, the cool backing - I mean really! I had the whole thing. But it's not written here so what did I do, dream that? Maybe I started it and got interrupted, which would be odd since I have 7 pets and the phone rings enough to keep me hoppin' not to mention the flippin' Dr's appts lately. Hmmm. I don't know. What I do know is your new banner - ROCKs!!!
