Me, Myself and I Play Date

I leave early tomorrow am for what I believe is my last trip for this year. My family and I are driving to KY in the morning to visit some of hub's family members for a few days. Perhaps I'll take this stitchery that I never finished on the trip to CA.

Earlier this month I hosted the Statler Sibs Group quarterly meeting. I had inexpensive muslin loaded on Gam for us to practice the new updates then I never had the chance until today. Here is just a small sampling of what I will call the Me, Myself and I play date. Once this is off Gam I've got to get back to the stack of quilts waiting for my attention. Muslin is so boring!

Should I have a small giveaway since I've seriously neglected the blog? I've got something different in mind. Those who read my blog regularly will have a much easier time. It may have to do with an old post. No more hints.

We in Kentucky welcome you and your family. Although it is just as hot here as NC, the heat wave is suppose to be better next week. Have fun in our beautiful state!

Oh my dear, look at that quilting? Gosh, goodness. I don't mean to be so self-centered because you are having to travel again and I should be sending sympathy but I really want to focus on that quilting! I know you have another one of my quilts and I'm seeing this stuff you did and I'm trying to contain myself!!! Lady Jane will be lovely, I just know it.

God speed, Mary. Travel safely.

The designs on the muslin...are they done free hand with your longarm or was the pattern drawn on ahead of time? It just amazes me what you gals can do with those machines!

I love seeing your quilting ideas. Were these done by the Statler or freehand?
Have a safe trip to KY. Are you staying in the mountains?

I too would love to know if these were freehand designs. I also can't wait to see how you use them in a quilt.

Have a good trip, and we'll look forward to "normail service being restored as soon as possible" as they say on the BBC in the UK whenever a transmission breaks down.
