The Perfect Answer

In answer to the question, How Many Quilts Is Enough?

You have enough quilts made when your soul is filled, your creativity satisfied and the fingers just won't work anymore.

Isn't that perfect stated? Thank you Latane Barton for touching my soul with your comment.

I came back and posted this comment so many of us quilter's will see it and feel just as I did when I read her comment. I hope you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Did you show that comment to your husband? Well said. The more quilts the merrier.

Very well said!!! Of course, my fingers don't work well anymore, that is why I use a sewing machine, but still, an inspired answer. Thank you!!!

I loved the comment when I first saw it, I'm going to have to remember that one for the appropriate times when I need it. Maybe it needs to be a plaque in the sewing room.

Kim said...

Uh oh...your hubby isn't ever again going to say a word about the amount of quilty anything for fear of a writing campaign against quilt ignorance, lol, poor guy.

SO True!

Wow! Thank you for sharing because I often don't read the comments others write. I feel like it's an almost private communication between you and the author so I try to respect that. Probably no one agrees with me on that point but still, it's just me.

So again, thank you for reposting this great thought. Wise!

Yep, that's the answer!

That says it all, doesn't it?

Zlaty said...

I agree!

If it makes you happy and it's for a good cause and makes everyone happy! Just keep on sewing!

Happy sewing!

Zlaty :)

Perfectly sane answer to a silly question.

Yes! I tell people they need to really worry about me when I no longer have the desire to pick up my needle.

What a wonderful answer! I, too, am thinking a little bit about the "how many quilts" question since I seem to be running out of space, but I don't think lack of space is going to stop me! LOL!

I agree wholeheartedly! Latane has said it all, and said it well!
