A Lovely Surprise

Blogging friends have been wonderful to me this past week. Thank you for all who left comments and also email me outside of the blog with regards to my missing Meowzer cat. He still hasn't shown up and I haven't given up because you've given me hope. The stories you shared with me about just how long some of you have had yours gone and then to hear they show up as though nothing happened! Don't they know we worry? I'd love to have a GPS on him. Many, many times a day I go to the front porch "just in case" he is there waiting for me.

I never heard the postman, so today when I went to look for the 20th time there was a box. Oh, can't even tell you how excited and uplifting it was to see such a lovely surprise waiting for me. It was my win from Carrie. I took a photo to show her generosity of fabric, stencil and notepad. This gives me a great start to a Spring quilt! But mostly.....really made my day. Thanks again Carrie....I really needed that.

Then to all my cheerleaders out there.....woo hoo.....your cheers have been just the ticket! I've nearly got all bits ready to start assembling the top in rows! Perhaps a posted top next time here!

Wishing you all a wonderful and blessed Easter.

What good timing for a special treat like that in the mail. It looks like a lot of fun.
I'm just sick that Meowzer hasn't come home yet. I know that feeling all too well. However, all my cats have come home to me over the 50 some years that I have been letting them out. The longest wait I had was 2 weeks...just about wiped me out...but then we continued on with our kitty for another 10 yrs without her doing that to me again! Thank God! My prayers are going up for Meowzer's prompt return.

Very nice present. I know you are delighted. I so feel for you missing your precious baby. Mine was missing for an hour and I went to pieces. I sure hope yours comes home soon.

There are few things better than a treat in the mail to perk a gal up in the afternoon. This looks like a wonderful treat. I can't think of a gal that is more deserving!!! Well, maybe me for hanging out in the hidey-hole with you. It's kinda damp and dark at night but I feel it's my feline duty to wait in the dark in case Meowzer returns. A friendly face in the hidey-hole at the Hollow is good love and energy...

What a nice gift you got in the mail and I am so happy you got it. I hope you will find your cat, I can just imagine how stressful it has to be not knowing where she is. But just be faithful and know we all care about you.

Hope you have a great weekend and that you will have time to sit down and relax and do some sewing or quilting.

Mary,

I am glad your win gave your some cheeriness. Enjoy your prize and have a wonderful Easter. I will be thinking good thoughts for your Meowzer.

That surely is a very generous giveaway prize...and I'm glad it went to YOU. We have never had an outside cat, but I've known many who do have them and have had them go "missing" for long periods of time and then return and I hope that is what has happened with Meowizer. There sure are lots of folks thinking good thoughts for him...so that has to county for something, right?

Hope that little kitty shows up soon. Nothing better than a package in the mail... especially one loaded with those goodies! Happy Day!

We are down to one kitty, after having had 5 at one time. The thought of him going missing would break my heart, so I can really feel your apprehension. "Junior" and I will put our noses together this evening & send brain waves to Meowzer, telling him to trot on home.

First off I hope the cat shows up soon. Congrats on the great surprise package! Lastly, yes it definitely is still at the quilter's. I knew it wouldn't be done for Christmas as it was a last minute thing but I hoped for within just a couple of months. Oh well, she's very good and very popular and has a huge pile of work to do for people in her front room! I haven't seen her work room but her living room is stacked to the ceiling with work. She did promise me that she'd have the quilt for my DIL, my Star Cakes quilt, and the two table toppers (one for my MIL) done in time for the wedding shower in May so maybe I can give it to her as a late Mother's Day gift also! This is a HUGE reason why I need to find a long arm machine I can afford but no one sells them used once they have them (at least not around here)! Can't say as I blame them! Thanks for stopping by. Have a Happy Easter!

What a great win! I know you'll have something made from it soon. And thanks for being such a faithful poster on my blog. I posted about Cash Strapped Crafting and the only comment I got was from you! I have to remember that blogging is not about the comments, it's about the journey.
