Pie For My Sweetie

Today for Valentine's Day I've baked my sweetie a Pecan Cheesecake Pie. He had to work today and I worked on a customer quilt so going out for dinner among the crowds just doesn't sound appealing to either one of us. I think we'll just settle in with a dinner I make, a movie and the pie.

sounds like the perfect evening to me! We didn't go out and although there was no pie - I did make the Prince some lamingtons - his favourite treat!

Sounds like my favorite kind of day - I don't much enjoy going out on holidays. Staying home with the people most special to my heart and a delicious homemade treat is far more enticing. Enjoy!

YUMMY! Looks delicious...if there's any left I'm on my way. Sounds like the perfect evening to me. I love the little log cabin on the table.

Yes, you were smart to not go out to eat. We waited 40 minutes for our table (with an 88 and 89 year old)...
Are you sharing your recipe for your amazing cheesecake pie? Take care, Natalie

Don't blame you on the going out thing. We waited for 30 minutes at 10:00 at night. Can't imagine what it was earlier. The looks good!

Oh, yummy, yummy! I have never tasted a pecan cheesecake pie but it looks like a good thing to try. And maybe try again! We don't like to go out to dinner when the crowds are out, so dinner at home & a relaxing evening sounds good.

I hope you had a good day, the pie can a movie is prefect. I spent some time with my girls making cake, pizza and a movie. Hubby did his best to stay away.
