Mine All Mine!

Here's some show and share for you. The above is another small little quilt that I plan to quilt the heck out of then give it a tea dye bath, toss it in a hot dryer to crinkle it and then I'll wad it up in something around here for decor. The 1/2 square triangles are just leftover bits and pieces from other projects. I'd sit and sew every now and then to tame the scraps and finally decided to just put them into another little quilt.

My quilt studio is above the garage. These are the stairs that lead from the main house up. Above the door is a sweet Jo Morton quilt appliqued with wool and given to me by my friend Shirley. On the left hanging over the wall is quilt tops....and look at that, buzz saw with no borders yet. (really need to get on that!)

Here is a small view to show where I hung Center Nine Patch. The cutting table is from IKEA.

I used up what I had in my stash for the back of Center Nine Patch. I love seeing the quilted design.

This is a close up view of a few of the blocks as the sun was hitting just right through the door. I'm just so tickled with myself and how the quilting turned out on this one and it is mine all mine!

You should be so proud of your project. I printed out the pattern. Never would have looked twice at it until I saw your completed quilt. A lot of talent in that one. P.S. totally envious of that sewing room.

Your sewing room is a crafter's dream! Oh how I would love to LOCK myself up there. (Personally I would put a vault door on that thing so that no would could get in).

Funny, I have also been looking at that cutting table ! I just need to remeasure to be sure that it will fit in my space.

All of your quilts are such treasures! You are such a good decorator.

Have a good weekend!

I would love to get the name of your cutting table. We are getting an Ikea soon and I would love to see if one like that would fit in my sewing room.

Your studio is just lovely. I noticed the nice Ikea cutting table. I like all the quilts on the walls. Hopefully one of these days I will have time put some quilts on my studio walls. And your quilting is breath taking beautiful.

OK-you're making me cry here. That studio is awesome! We recently built a two car garage with a room above but it is a big gathering room and connects directly from our kitchen. What a studio it would make though!

Love the studio. I wish mine was finished...started. Any way the quilting is great on the quilt and I would be shouting on the rooftop if something of mine turned out like yours.

Oh, I love your studio! It must be so nice to have that much room to move around without tripping over things! Does it stay cool enough in the summer?
There seems to be a lot of light--how handy is that?
