A Birthday Gift

Terri popped in for a visit this morning with a late birthday present for me! The Fat Quarter Shop was selling a Piece & Plenty BOM that she joined along with myself, Pam and Ann. (all no bloggers!) Well, Terri decided she would likely NEVER get to the BOM so she has started cutting up her kits to make other projects like this table mat heart. Thanks Terri!

OOOOOO....I love that. Those colors and fabrics are so pretty. I love how she used them for that mat. Lucky you to have such a thoughtful friend!!! (Belated happy birthday wishes, too.)

What a nice surprise birthday gift you received. That's one way to use up a kit, I'd be afraid of cutting it up and then wanting to make the BOM after all.

Oh this is just too cute!

That's adorable. I've been considering taking my Peace & Plenty kits apart also - just don't care for the whole quilt.

How cute is that!! I love the fabrics and she was so clever to re-purpose that block kit instead of letting it just lanquish in a box somewhere. Happy belated birthday!
