Since I had major grocery shopping today I went to the Super Wal-Mart thinking I would save a few pennies on their roll-back pricing. Every time I shop the prices just keep going up so I haven't a clue what they are rolling-back from. It has gotten to the point that some recipes don't get everything they call for or if I'm the only one who cares for some green pepper in my meal I'll do without so I can save my $2! I love nuts but the rest of the family isn't as keen as I about the nuts....another corner I'm cutting with exception to my pecan cheesecake pie!
A few post back I mentioned needing new rugs. I found two possibilities today and brought them home for auditioning. Did you know that Wal-Mart is now carrying Better Homes items? They have some very nice rugs in; that fit my "country look".
The reason for my second posting and sorry if I babble on here. After putting away groceries I went up to change Gam's needle before loading my next quilt top. The needle screw isn't budging so requires some DH strength when he gets in this evening. So then decided to catch up on emails and going through some "old favorite" listings.
I'd forgotten about http://www.fatcatpatterns.com/ and it must be shared especially because of some new FREE holiday patterns. You'll find many FREE patterns as well as some retired ones for a small fee.
As I write, Son #2 is on his way home to spend the next several days with us during his Fall break. Hence, the need for food! This will also be his first sighting of Gam.....he's an engineering student so I'm guessing he'll be somewhat interested.
